Been up since 2:00 a.m. working on art stuff. Thinking a respite is in order soon. Hoping, anyway. So, before I forget, here’s today’s bee. Fantastic bumble (check out that tongue!) departing a blossom on the Russian Sage. It’s generally impossible for me to tell if they’re approaching or leaving. But I do remember this shot – this one backing out. Pretty stalk, too, on this one. And that’s not something I necessarily notice when I look at the plant. They’re big…with scores if not hundreds of stalks…so I tend to see the bush rather than the individual parts that make the bush. Rambling again… Lots of talk about the “third eye”. Wonder if my camera is mine.
