This is a really clean shot of a beautiful little honeybee. She’s not so clean, however. Look at that chunk of pollen stuck to her face. I followed her for a while with my camera (including through a daring escape from a spider and her web – pics of that encounter someday maybe) and that chunk of pollen stayed stuck right on her face. Super cute! And clearly not from the pincushion flowers. She’d gotten into something earlier.
