Bee 039 – Honeybee on a Fame Flower
Really neat flower, but one of the worst for shooting bees. The stems are so long and so insubstantial – any wind at all and they’re flapping all over the place. Then even something as light as a honeybee pulls them down an inch or few. Sometimes the bumbles will pull them all the way to the ground with their weight.
That said, the bees just love love love this one. And it’s fun to watch them on it.
