Strange Shot in the Russian Sage

I’ve mentioned before that our neighbors put a neat garden in their parking strip – and planted several Russian Sage plants. Most of ours are deeply buried in gardens which makes access tough (trying not to stomp on things planted). But those in the parking strip are fantasic. Access from all angles. So I shoot a lot in/at them. This one is kind of weird because the stalks are really dense – and that shows in most of the photos. But this one has some space. So the background is a little different from most shots on this plant. Kind of neat. And a great bee.

I’m a big fan of the Russian Sage. Seems to bloom forever, doesn’t take much water, and the pollinators (of all sorts) just flock to it. Sometimes it just pulses with insect life.
